This is a very dear family to me. Mom has two young kids and she is the light of their life. Their constant love and acceptance of everything and everyone around them is emulated from their mother. They have gentle and loving souls, housed within all-boy bodies that still manage to delight in rough and tumble play. It’s the perfect blend.
Big brother is finishing his last year of preschool, and he’s going to be absolutely brilliant in kindergarten. I still can’t believe how quickly time flies. I first photographed him here, long before his brother was around. He’s changed so much in such a short time, growing from a fun-loving toddler to a sweet and curious big kid.
Little brother is Mr. Stoic. He has the most adorable serious face as he is busy analyzing the world around him. Everything is equally important- whether that be a blade of grass, or my camera, or Mom’s necklace. It’s all fascinating to him. You can see his newborn portrait here, I swear it wasn’t that long ago!
Together. This perfectly sums up their personalities. Big brother is smiling because he knows he is supposed to, carefully holding little brother on his lap. Little brother’s eyes are locked on mom, trying to figure out what is going on- why are they sitting by all these giant flowers that he is not allowed to eat?
These two boys are a delight- rough and tumble, full of love for Mom, giant imaginations, and the right amount of cuddles. A perfect blend.
Do you love sunflower portraits, but you aren’t sure if you want to invest in a full portrait session with them? I have the answer for you.
I open up a very limited number of shorter “just for kids” sessions at the height of peak bloom in the famous Jarrettsville sunflower field in Harford County, typically in early to mid September. They are first available to previous portrait clients and members of my email list. If you are interested in a sunflower portrait, sign up for my email newsletter! These sessions typically fill to capacity in a day or two.
